Two-Factor Authentication
Secure your account with two-factor authentication (2FA).
What is 2FA?
Two-factor authentication adds an extra layer of security by requiring a verification code in addition to your password.
Enabling 2FA
- Go to Account Settings > Security
- Click 'Enable Two-Factor Authentication'
- Choose your 2FA method (SMS or authenticator app)
- Follow setup instructions
- Save backup codes in a secure location
2FA Methods
- SMS text messages
- Authenticator apps (Google Authenticator, Authy)
- Backup codes for account recovery
Best Practices
- Use authenticator apps over SMS when possible
- Keep backup codes in a secure location
- Don't share verification codes with anyone
- Update your phone number if it changes
